DOTM Archive (#1)

In an age of ATM machines and express teller service, it seems nearly impossible to receive the human interaction we crave from those in the financial services industry. Where are the smiles, the pats on the back, the singing of songs when we successfully put away our pennies towards the attainment of something great? Luckily, along came the invention of the singing piggy bank--yes, this piggy bank sings! Imagine our surprise when we deposited a quarter--only to hear a stunning rendition of London Bridge, followed closely by Old McDonald, and then (miracle of miracles!) the melodious conclusion of Twinkle, Twinkle! Oh, how we found ourselves wanting desperately to save our pennies!

This month's favorite donation gives us a chance to remind our donors that The Sharehouse is happy to receive your good condition household and decorative items. It is part of our mission to provide client families with all the things they need to make their houses into true homes--this includes items such as nicely framed picture art that is non-religious or offensive in nature, candle holders, picture frames, placemats, tablecloths, nice vases, and decorative crafts.
