How would you like to be snuggling up inside this warm quilt during the cold, winter months in Seattle? Thanks to one of our very dedicated volunteers, Charolette Mace, many of the families that we serve will know exactly how good snuggling up inside of a warm quilt feels. Ms. Mace has single-handedly created and donated 21 quilts to Sharehouse client families, all of which have been made with the sort of care that only a generous heart could inspire! Ms. Mace was a joiner of our Annual Blanket Drive late last year and has gone on to exceed any of our expectations by continuing to donate 2 or 3 quilts each month. Ms. Mace continues to be the volunteer that lifts the spirits of our staff and reminds us that small feats of wonder can ripple to become large presences in the lives of others. Thank you, Charolette!

This month’s favorite donation gives us a chance to remind our donors that The Sharehouse is happy to receive donations of new or used blankets, comforters, and linens that are not ripped or stained! We would also like to take this chance to remind you all that The Sharehouse will be running its annual Winter Blanket Drive from November to January in order to collect enough blankets for clients that need to warmly outfit their homes during the cold weather.
